FAQ's

Q: What should I expect when I walk through the door?

At Church of the Resurrection you will encounter authentic worship, a life-changing message and real people attempting to live out a real faith. The environment is friendly, casual and inviting!

Q: What time should I be there?

You should give yourself plenty of time to get your family settled, get some freshly brewed coffee, and find a good seat.  We recommend that you arrive about 10-15 minutes early so that you can get your bearings and ask any questions you may have.

Q: How do I get there?

Church of the Resurrection is located on North Shore Drive (county Hwy KE) about a mile south of Hwy 16 between Hartland and Pewaukee. Click here to print out door-to-door directions.

Q: What should I wear?

Most people come to the church in casual attire.  It is not unusual for people to wear sweaters and jackets in the midst of winter and sundresses, slacks and shorts in the summer.

Q: What should I do with my kids?

We love kids, and we believe they are an important part of our church community. Children are always welcome in worship, and we have a well-staffed nursery during our Sunday services.

We also have Sunday School for 3K-5K students that meets during the 10:00 a.m. service.  Students in grades 1-4 come into the sanctuary with their parents and leave for Sunday School after the children’s message.

Their rotation Sunday School concludes at the same time the worship service ends.

 Youth and Family Ministry

A primary focus of our ministry is the development of relationships with children and their families. While Sunday mornings are very busy here, Wednesday evening youth choirs and confirmation classes as well as Thursday evening adult music ministry fill of our building with joy and laughter.

In addition, Fridays and Saturdays are times for many activities for middle school aged youth and our high school youth.

What is this Church About?

One of the things we look for when visiting a church is to understand what the church is about. What is taught here?  What are we passionate about? How do we reach out beyond this place to our community and our world?

Check out this website under “How We Serve” and “Life Together” for a taste of our life together.  Of course, you are always invited to ask one of our greeters or a member of our ministry staff any questions you may have!

“What does the church have to offer me?”

The number one question everyone has in their mind when they visit a new church is, “What is here for me?”  At Church of the Resurrection we like to ask another question, “How can  I participate in the life and community of this church?”

We care about your interests and passions as they are most likely shared by others in the church.  We work hard to develop small group ministry in the church which combines people with similar interests.
